So you just arrived in World of Mayhem and need some help to get you started?
Worry no more, for we have compiled a list of tips & tricks for some guidance.

Progression Tips:
INCREASE YOUR PLAYER LEVEL
After completing the game tutorial, you’ll see there are a lot of areas locked behind player level milestones. It’s time to work towards those, bub!
You’ll increase your Player Level by gathering XP. The best way of doing this is by completing and replaying campaign battles, finishing your daily goals and quests. During the first days, focus on these areas of the game so you get access to more exciting features soon!
KEEP YOUR TOONS BUSY WITH TASKS
Don’t forget to regularly come back to the game to send your toons to accomplish new tasks. It’s a great way of obtaining toon pieces and some basic resources needed to get you started.
REPEAT CAMPAIGN STAGES
Once you clear a battle with 3 stars, you’ll be able to repeat it by auto-winning them. This will make it easier for you to farm the materials you need, and keep on stocking XP.
INVEST IN YOUR TOONS
It’s a good idea to spread your resources across all toons so you have a versatile team when attempting new Campaign and Brawl battles. This is because there are a lot of possible toon combinations in World of Mayhem, so having a well-rounded collection of toons is key.
BRAWL EVERYTHING
Steal crates that your opponent is trying to open. Crates contain the materials you’ll need to bring your toons to the next level. Take an enemy’s crate right before it’s about to open and keep all the rewards for yourself!
In the beginning, you may want to tackle XP crates. They will help you level up your toons quickly so you can finish more Campaign and daily challenges battles.
FINISH YOUR DAILY GOALS
Daily Goals are a guaranteed source of very useful materials and they don’t take so much time to complete… So make sure you tackle them daily for maximal output!
CLAIM YOUR FREE CRATES
Remember to claim your free crate every 3 hours! These crates contain energy plus nifty resources for your account.
Battle Tips:
KNOW YOUR TOONS
Each toon is unique and incredibly fun to play. When unlocking new toons, spend some time reading about their skills and relationships. The more familiar you get with them, the better combos you’ll do with your teams.
COUNTER TO WIN
The game features iconic rivalries and friendships. Make sure you set up your team to counter the enemy. If their strongest toon is Daffy Duck, make it Duck Season by bringing Bugs, who has a chance of stunning him with one of his attacks.
MAXIMIZE YOUR TOONS POTENTIAL
When building your team, look for synergies between roles and skills. Some toons have friendships with other toons, but there are all kinds of combinations to take advantage of as well.
For example, try combining a powerful defender with taunting abilities with a teammate who can give them a counter attack. This way, you are turning your Defender into an Attacker as well.
KEEP YOUR TEAM BALANCED
When building your squads in the World of Mayhem, it’s important to balance their roles. You can start with one Defender, one Support and two Damage Dealers and work from there.
If your Defenders are strong enough, you may do without a support but remember that some damage dealers will always need help to support their backs!
FOCUS ON ONE ENEMY AT A TIME
Wear down one enemy at a time. Target the weakest link on their team – whether this is their high damage attacker or their vulnerable support.
Look for ways to work around enemy defenders to keep up the pressure! If you have to choose, take out the Support first.
KEEP STATUS EFFECTS ON CHECK
Never underestimate the power of status effects on both your Toons and your enemies. For instance, if an enemy has Counter Attack, consider another target! Also, it’s not a good idea to launch your best attacks on a Toon with a Dodge Chance buff… For obvious reasons. Stunned enemies are easy prey, while a Hidden toon can’t be attacked unless there are no other enemies left (or if you use an Area of Effect skill).
Get familiar with these status effects and understand how to take advantage of them or minimize their effects.
PAY ATTENTION TO THE TURN METER
A toon Turn Meter is the purple bar under their health. Once it fills up, it’s their turn to act in battle! Use speed buffs to gain an edge and attack first!
DEFEND WISELY
Conquering another player crate can be challenging – but defending that new acquisition is another whole business. When placing your defending team, don’t always look to power levels only, but concentrate on toon synergies as well.
Some of your toons may not be the strongest ones but they’ll increase their stats and general performance when placed in the same team.
