Hey Loonerinos! Things are about to get medieval now that the Shogunate are here. These warlords don’t seize power all at once, they slowly strip away at it piece by piece by massively reducing the damage dealt by enemies, constantly weakening their defenses, and stacking loads of Recovery Down until no option remains but to submit to their rule.
Before the blades are drawn, let’s meet the warlords.
HIDDEN BLADE WOLF
This Legendary Attacker is a resourceful ally, granting team members a variety of buffs that boost their Attack, Piercing, Tenacity, and Turn Meter. He does not seek honor, he seeks out the strongest attacker and Flips Stat Ups on them while removing Turn Meter from each enemy the first time he uses his Special Attack on them. Like a hidden threat that slowly grows, he inflicts Defense Down, which scales with each Recovery Down on the enemy. Indeed he will do whatever it takes to weaken their defense, even if it means following a Code of Misconduct.
This leader carries a Mark of Dishonor that constantly inflicts enemies with reduced recovery.
MARVIN-DONO
Marvin-dono commands the Shogun’s army, using his Martian superiority to deliver attacks that lower enemy Defense and Speed. He instructs his team to inflict Defense Down on foes when they’re in good health and Recovery Down when they’re low on health, and as they get more injured, his team’s attacks Pierce through stronger. Any resistance to his military might will be in vain once he deploys his K-9 Artillery.
DAIMYO TAZ
Daimyo Taz is mostly in it for the power grab. When enemies Taunt this Defender, he not only Steals their Stat Ups and Special Stat Ups but also sabotages their strategy by Scrambling buffs, Silencing the enemy with the highest Turn Meter, and granting his team Damage Resistance Up to empower their capacity to take hits. By routinely Flipping Attack Up on enemies with Recovery Down, he makes it hard for them to start strong, and if he ever needs to assert authority, he subjects his foes to a Temper Trap that reduces the damage they deal.
SHOGUN ELMER
Shogun Elmer intends to fully support the Shogunate’s claim for absolute power. He takes advantage of enemies with Recovery Down by gaining Healing Up and inflicting Damage Down. In exchange for his team’s loyalty, he offers them protection by Cleansing Stat Downs on them and, additionally, Stuns on Shogunate allies. The Shogun punishes Taunting enemies by reducing their Recovery while boosting the recovery of Taunting teammates so they can better endure attacks. He reserves his Flights of Fury for those with an offensive edge.
