Hey gang! We’re back with the upcoming season 29 patch notes, where we will be wrapping up the savage crew of the Tasmaniacs, a long-standing incomplete team by introducing the last of the mechanically menacing Robots and celebrating the 4th of July in style by bringing together toons old and new as the new Liberty team! We’re also doing some slight tuning down in the damage output of Omega Chungus, who has been a bit too effective in making use of his fellow supertoon’s passive buffs.

The Liberty Team
Celebrating tenets of Liberty and enlightenment, Lola of Liberty comes back to celebrate her 1st birthday by putting together a team with toons from the World of Mayhem’s past alongside a newcomer. The Liberty team revolves mainly around its defender, and benefit from her presence in the battlefield with or without her having Taunt. With many passive triggers to regrant Taunt to Lola of Liberty, the team also benefits from AoE and single target protections as passives, posing as a sturdy obstacle that needs to be picked apart bit by bit.
Reworks
Robots
The mechanical menaces built in the ACME factories are receiving their final team member, and with its release a bunch of upgrades are coming to all of them. The team will stay focused on powerful critical hits while boosting their own critical damage and further amplifying that damage through critical defense reduction.
We’re transforming Solid Tin Coyote’s “Zapped” mechanic into the team’s theme skill, while giving him incredibly high Debuff potential to help keep the Robots ahead in the damage race.

Robo Sprint

Unless Incapacitated, at the start of each enemy’s turn, if this toon has Taunt, heal for 5% Max Health, otherwise gain 10% Turn Meter. While this toon is below 60% Max Health, allied Support toons have +30% Speed.
High Voltage
While this toon is in battle, Robot team members inflict their target with Zapped whenever they land a Critical Hit.
At the start of each of this toon’s turns and unless Incapacitated, inflict all enemies with a Recovery Down or Speed Down for each Robot team member.
Robot Theme Passive (New)

Dangerous Discharge
While in Arena, Robot team members have +10% stats. While placed on offense, Power Sap also grants Sure Critical and this toon removes 2 Stat Up or Special Stat Up whenever it damages an enemy.

Liberty
Lola of Liberty
The legendary of the newfound Liberty team is going to be seeing large revisions, having some of her old passives borrowed by other team members. While further becoming a strong frontline defender for her team, they are capable of enabling complete protection from Damage Over Time effects as well as having a very impactful rework on her Legendary leadership skill, which aims to heavily incentivize her enemies to deal with her first.

While this toon remains in battle, a random Stat Down is Cleansed from all team members at the start of each Liberty team member’s turn. If Rocket Coyote is an ally and while they remain in battle, once per turn, when a team member is Overhealed, grant them a random Stat up.

Balance Changes
Omega Chungus
As mentioned before, we’re also slightly reducing some of Omega Chungus’ modifiers so as to not have such an overwhelming amount of damage coming from the galaxy’s greatest. The aim here is to keep the toon as a strong presence, but allow for the enemies to properly have time to set up defensive measures for the strongest AoE attacks the supertoons can dish out.
