In season 22, the Horrors & Mayhem takeover is now behind us, so it’s time for a change of scene! In this season, we’ll be reworking a few older teams, completing the Pyramid theme and bringing a few balance changes!
The Toy team
In this land full of Looneys, we’ve had many iterations of wanna-be Santa characters. This time, instead of following the Christmas theme, we’ll be introducing a year-round theme that comes with it’s own flavor: the Toys! This team will start out with a powerful duo, but you can look forward to it being completed in the coming seasons. This team will be lead by the ingenious and totally not evil-scheming Toymaker Marvin, using advanced martian technology to bring joy (and totally not evil machines) to the World of Mayhem

Balance Changes
In this season, we’re keeping in theme of modernizing prominent toons that, while veterans of the roster and competitive scenes, have skills that are too powerful or inconsistent for you, the player, to work around.
Kicking us off, we’re adding Warm-Ups to Roman Legion Sam’s Testudo and Toxic Destroyer’s Poison Blast as well as modifying their damage.
We’re also doing slight changes to Lunar Toro as the current iteration of Celestial Display has no upper ceiling, which is problematic for future toons and reworks, as well as adjusting the Tenacity of Spirit of the Ox for similar reasons.
Additionally, we’re reworking a bunch of toons, bringing them up to speed on the battlefield. Further details on the latter Reworks section!

Lunar Toro
As toons and themes get adjusted and reworked, a few of the peaceful Lunar leader skills have too high an upper bound. While the change to Spirit of the Ox is a larger one, our hope is that the changes to Celestial Display aren’t too prominent, and just act as some future-proofing

Toxic Destroyer
Toxic Destroyer is still quite the powerful toon and able to hold up to his peers, but his naturally high attack combined with his team’s ability to reduce enemy defense has left Poison Blast as too powerful a tool for starting the battle out, so it’s receiving an adjustment to modernize it.
As we’re likely to revisit Anti-Heroes in the near future, we hope this change just reduces the frustration of playing against the character while the team itself hasn’t received a broader rework

Outlaws
While the team is host to quite a few members, we do believe the core team is close to a good spot, so while not doing skill reworks to most members, we are reworking the very veteran toons of the team, as well as bolstering their leader, Hawk with No Name, with a major skill rework.
Hawk with no Name
While no major outstanding changes are being made to his skills, we’re prolonging the amount of time Hawk with no Name has with a high amount of Bullets, which should increase his overall power in the starting turns of battle.
As this does delay the reload activation of Trigger Happy, we’re also adjusting a few passive skills to make up for that loss.

Professionals
The professionals are a team that came alongside new mechanics and, at their time, truly lived up to their name. As the toons evolved and combat became more complex, they seem to have lost some of their ability to deal with a variety of enemies, so we’re doing major reworks to the entire core team to restore them as a solid all-around option as well as a good counter pick in a few scenarios.
Since we’re propping up the team, we also decided to give a bit of a bump-up to the non-core team members as well, mostly because Salesduck Daffy sold us on it.
While we are lowering some damage modifiers, they should now be able to stack very high amount of stat bonuses by accumulating Foreman’s signature mechanic, the “Bricks”, which is being shifted into their own Theme Passive.
Foreman Leghorn
As the one leading his team, Foreman Leghorn is having a major reshuffle of skill effects, as well as brand new ones added so he can pile up even more power on his fellow professionals.

Season 21 Correction
With the ACME Computers latest programmed explosion, we unfortunately didn’t put all of the rework details in the last blogpost. This should be final changes to the Anubis K-9, Henry Horus and we’re adding Thoth Beaky in there, as some of it was left out.
The changes are to Anubis’ Keep the Obsidian Gate, Henery Horus’ Worlds Above and Thoth Beaky’s Judge Unjust and Bring Balance, and the stat rebalancing for Athena Petunia and Hermes Road Runner
