After many heated battles last year, Petunia Unleashed and Van Wile have decided to call in reinforcements to prepare for this year’s Spooky Season! With two new toons, the newly revamped Unlikely Heroes will continue to specialize in anti-revive and anti-monster combat, and have several new upgrades to their abilities including enhancements to their theme passive “Emboldened”.
Let’s take a look at the team before they become too busy eradicating all monsters, zombies, and ghouls from the World of Mayhem!
PETUNIA UNLEASHED
When hoards of monsters take over the battlefield, Petunia Unleashed rises to the occasion to settle the score. The mere sight of any monster on the enemy team will have her permanently buffing her team’s Max Health. She constantly inflicts Recovery Down with each and every attack and occasionally grants her team Turn Meter and Stuns enemies. Petunia Unleashed is fully focused on sending her enemies to the grave and making sure they stay there with passive Anti-Revive abilities meant to Keep them Down.
Through battle-hardened wisdom, Petunia Unleashed knows that her teammates must remain Emboldened to stay ready for anything. That’s why she will ensure all Unlikely Heroes begin battle with and receive additional benefits from Emboldened.
VAN WILE
With nerves of steel and bullets of silver, Van Wile is a fabled monster hunter aiming to take down all undead monstrosities. What better way to do this than by removing Taunt and Turn Meter from enemy Defenders, creating an opening for your team to strike? While inflicting massive Attack Down and having guaranteed Critical Hits against Monsters might be enough for some monster hunters, Van Wile takes it an extra step. Believing any enemy that Revives is a Monster, he will Silence and deal Max Health damage to them while gaining massive amounts of Turn Meter as preparation for his AOE attack, Static Bomb.
ZOMBIE HUNTER RALPH
Equipped with a wide arsenal of traps, ammunition, and clever devices, Zombie Hunter Ralph is an expert tracker who is fearless in battle. Keeping his team safe with endless tricks such as keeping his team free of Stat Down, Removing and Flipping valuable buffs on enemies, granting his team Recovery Up, Heal Over Time, Defense Up, and even Sturdy, Zombie Hunter Ralph is capable of outsmarting any enemy. Using his Eagle Eyes and his keen awareness, he can spot a Critical attack a mile away, reducing their impact.
SUPERNATURAL INVESTIGATOR CLAUDE
Often using his nervous demeanor to fool his enemies, Supernatural Investigator Claude’s nifty briefcase has a solution to combat any supernatural activities. Cleaning is the name of the game with this toon, not only being able to Cleanse his team of some serious Debuffs including Stun, Silence, Freeze, Horrify, and Rotting, but will also Remove tons of Buffs when using his nuke, giving his team a clean target to attack. Aside from Debuff management and Healing, this purr-veyor of professional paranormal pest purification has a well-developed Feline Sixth Sense, highly useful in these perilous encounters.
