Van Wile

  • Adjusted stats
    • Defense increased by 7%.
    • HP increased by 25%.
    • Speed increased by 8%.

  • Cryptic Contraption now grants Piercing Up
    • Deal (85 / 90 / 90 / 95 / 100)% damage to target enemy, gaining (1 / 1 / 1-2 / 1-2 / 2) Piercing Up.

  • ACME Monster Cage now also removes Taunt
    • Deal (100 / 110 / 120 / 130 / 150)% damage to target enemy, removing Taunt and 20% Turn Meter. If the target is a Monster, this is a critical hit.

  • Stinky Garlic replaced by Once is Enough
    • While this toon is in battle, all revived enemies become Monsters. Whenever an enemy toon is revived, this toon Silences and deals (15 / 20 / 20 / 25 / 25)% max health damage to them, gaining (30 / 30 / 40 / 40 / 50)% turn meter.
      • Used to decrease enemies Lifesteal stat.

  • Static Bomb cooldown resets whenever an enemy revives
    • Deal (80 / 85 / 90 / 95 / 100)% damage  to all enemies with a 50% chance to Stun each enemy monster. Whenever an enemy revives, reset the cooldown of this ability.

  • Watch the Shadows has an extra effect against Monster toons
    • Whenever an enemy gains Hidden or Speed Up, this toon gains 20% Turn Meter and (1 / 1 / 1-2 / 1-2 / 2) Attack up for (1 / 1-2 / 1-2 / 2 / 2) turns. If the enemy is a Monster, inflict them with (2 / 2-3 / 3 / 3-4 / 4) Attack Down.
      • Turn Meter scaling used to be (10 / 12.5 / 12.5 / 15 / 15)%

Outback Dawg

  • Throwstick now inflicts Defense Down
    • Hit target enemy two times for a total of (80 / 85 / 90 / 95 / 100 / 110)% damage, inflicting Defense Down with each hit.

  • Wilderness Guide now grants Hunter team members Lifesteal
    • Unless Silenced or Incapacitated,  grant your team +50% Counter Chance, and all Hunter team members +25% Lifesteal.

  • Watch the Teeth grants Piercing Up to Hunter team members
    • Whenever a team member counters, grant it (1 / 1 / 1-2 / 2 / 2 / 3) Attack Up for (1 / 2 / 2 / 2 / 3 / 3) turns. If it’s a Hunter, grant (1 / 1 / 1-2 / 1-2 / 2 / 3) Piercing Up for (1 / 1-2 / 1-2 / 2 / 2 / 2) turns as well.

  • Jungle Remedy reworked
    • Heal for (20 / 25 / 25 / 30 / 30 / 35)% Max Health, cleansing (4 / 4 / 4-5 / 4-5 / 5 / 5) debuffs, gaining Hidden and 50% Turn Meter.
      • Heal is now based on Max Health, and scaling was reviewed.
      • Debuffs cleanse scaling was (4 / 4 / 4-5 / 4-5 / 5 / 6).
      • Now also grants Hidden and Turn Meter.

  • Relationships reviewed
    • Removed Hunters rivalry
    • Explorers friendship replaced with Hunters friendship

The Hunters have been in a weird place for a while, haven’t they? You’ve got legendaries coming and going, a ton of effects all thrown around, and there hasn’t been actual unity in the sense that you can put a bunch of Hunters together and end up with an optimal team. With Major Canasta and Contraptionist Egghead on the horizon, we want to start looking over Hunters in general and give them a fixed identity, along with giving some of our favorite Hunters a bit of a push to get them started. We hope that this will allow for the creation of better, more intuitive comps.
