Hello everyone, 

It’s time for our first war under the revamped system. With the creation of 3 different sized maps comes a different ruleset for each of them. Here’s a quick rundown of what you can expect for each map size, in order to help you better prepare for the Holiday War and beyond.

Designed for alliances with 5-19 eligible members, this map has 2 islands. Each island has 1 Regional Tower and 3 Cannons. There are no Central Towers on this map, just the Ship, bringing the total structures to 9. Each member is allowed to defend up to 2 structures.

The HP of each node varies depending on the map size. Here’s the breakdown for the small map: 

  • Ship HP- 5 
  • Tower HP- 4 
  • Cannon HP- 4 

Each node on this map can only be attacked once per person, meaning 5 distinct members would all have to secure a bomb on the ship in order to bring it down. 

For each invasion, every alliance member will start with 4 Energy. Energy recharges at a rate of 2 energy per 8 hours. This means every member will have the opportunity to make 8 attacks if they use all of their energy.

Designed for alliances with 20-45 eligible members, this map has 3 islands. Each island has 2 Regional Towers and 6 Cannons. Each island is connected to the ship through a Central Tower, bringing the total defended structures to 28. Each member is allowed to defend up to 2 nodes. 

Here’s the HP breakdown for the medium map: 

  • Ship HP- 10
  • Tower HP- 8 
  • Cannon HP- 8 

Unlike the classic war format, each structure on this map can be attacked up to two times per person, meaning 6 distinct members could bring down the ship, if they secure 2 bombs each.

At the start of each invasion, every alliance member will start with 6 Energy. Energy recharges at a rate of 3 energy per 8 hours. This means every member will have the opportunity to make 12 attacks if they use all of their energy.

Designed for alliances with 46+ eligible members, this map has 4 islands. Each island has 2 Regional Towers and 8 Cannons. Each island is connected to the ship through a Central Tower, bringing the total defended structures to 45. Each member is allowed to defend just 1 structure

Here’s the HP breakdown for the large map: 

  • Ship HP- 15 
  • Tower HP- 12 
  • Cannon HP- 12 

Each structure on this map can be attacked up to three times per person, meaning just 5 distinct members can sink the Ship, if they score 3 bombs each. 

Every alliance member will start each Invasion with 8 Energy. Regenerating 4 energy per 8 hours, every member will have the opportunity to make 16 attacks if they use all of their energy.

War Buffs:

For the Small and Medium Maps, the current costs and levels of the war buffs will remain the same. However, for the Big Map, War Buffs can be upgraded 5 extra levels to level 15, up from level 10. To accommodate this change, the cost of purchasing War Buffs up to level 10 has been decreased.

War Island Rotation:

The familiar islands return this week with the Holiday War, starting with City, Farm, Forest and Space. After that, the rotation will be:

  1. Farm, Desert, Winter, City
  2. Winter, Space, Farm, Forest
  3. City, Farm, Forest, Space
  4. Desert, City, Forest, Farm
