Meet David, the man behind UnstableGam3r!
Ok, so what’s your YouTube channel all about?
I started my channel in August of 2018 because of my love for all types of games. My goal is that the channel will be a place for players to come and see strategies, tips and tricks for all types of games in the hero collector genre, especially Looney Tunes World of Mayhem.
The game captures the original spirit of the early cartoons and allows players to create their own animated shorts, in an essence, by teaming up and playing these beloved characters pitting themselves against other players and alliances in looney battles of hilarity.
Why did you become a youtuber?
I started creating content on YouTube because of my love for video games, it was always a dream of mine to be part of the gaming industry someday. However, life had different plans as it often does.
I’ve always loved diving into all aspects of a game, looking for all the little secrets that the developers take so much time to add and sharing what I’ve found with others. One day I decided to give it a shot and was hooked from then on, it’s been a lot of fun meeting other players, creators and industry professionals. I’ve enjoyed every minute of it and I hope to continue for years to come!
When I’m not making videos my wife and I love to camp, go to concerts, travel and since she is an avid gamer as well, we love to find great co-op games that we can play together.
What’s that you like about World of Mayhem?
I play the game because I love turn-based RPG’s, I love building up characters and putting teams together, discovering different combinations that are effective in different game modes. I’m very much looking forward to what other game modes the developers have in mind.
I love Looney Tunes World of Mayhem because the characters are what I grew up on as a kid. The nostalgia of it all is very cool and the team has done a fantastic job keeping true to the essence of what Looney Tunes is all about. Great stuff!
Any top looney teams you wanna share with us?
My favorite teams to play are OG Bugs, OG Porky, Gossamer and Daffy Hood, this is a great attack team in all game modes.
When I focus more on defense I like to use my arch-nemesis Astronaut Sylvester along with Pepe Le Bard, Treasure Hunter Tweety and Witch Hazel. There are so many great combinations with these iconic toons, I could list many other great teams, that’s what keeps me coming back to the game every day.
Anything you wanna add before you keep on creating?
My channel would not be able to continue without the support of the community, other creators and industry professionals embracing the content that I create providing feedback, suggestions and interacting with me and others in the community through the various comments and during live streams – which truly is the best part of it all!
