Hey loonerinos! Marvin has built a ranch unlike any other and he’s raising a herd of Instant Martians for one purpose: to conquer the World of Mayhem! The Space Rancher team is built around a unique effect called Defend the Ranch. Each stack increases the team’s resistance to damage while gradually wearing down enemies with Max Health damage.
Let’s take a tour around the ranch and meet the crew!
WRANGLER GOSSAMER
Someone has to keep the recruits in line, and Wrangler Gossamer is more than happy to crack the whip. He builds Defend the Ranch whenever he attacks, using those stacks to lower enemy Debuff Resistance while boosting his Counter Chance and the team’s Lifesteal. He calls Instant Martian to Assist, Stuns enemies, and brands them with powerful debuffs that reduce their Damage Resistance, Speed, and Recovery. This wrangler is always on the move, gaining Turn Meter and Max Health at the start of each ally’s turn, with even more Turn Meter at the beginning of battle.
As the team’s Legendary, he gets his team to Saddle Up, ensuring the ranch is defended from the very start of battle.
RANCHER MARVIN
Serving as the team’s Defender, Rancher Marvin draws enemies out with Taunt, gaining Defend the Ranch each time he’s attacked. As those stacks grow, so does his Max Health while his enemies’ Damage steadily drops. No troublemaker escapes his lasso as he lowers enemy Attack, Flips their Stat Ups, and keeps the strongest enemy attacker in check with Max Health damage. Marvin also keeps a watchful eye on his fellow ranchers, regularly granting Heal Over Time to vulnerable allies and retaliating with Attack Down on all enemies when Instant Martian is defeated.
INSTANT MARTIAN
Grown instantly from an obscure brand of Martian seeds, Instant Martian is Rancher Marvin’s loyal henchman and the team’s trusty Attacker. He keeps the invasion moving by granting plenty of Turn Meter, and boosts the team’s Piercing whenever an enemy loses Taunt. He is specially raised on the range to remove Damage Resistance Up from vulnerable foes and to lower enemy Defense and Debuff Resistance.
RANCH HAND K-9
As the team’s Support, K-9 keeps the ranch running smoothly by Healing and Cleansing his fellow ranchers while regularly stacking Defend the Ranch. He’s well-equipped to keep the enemy in check, Stealing their buffs and inflicting Speed Down, Healing Down, and Stat Downs, while empowering his teammates with Stat Ups based on their archetype. He protects himself with Hidden when a team member loses Taunt and also grants it to the first ally who falls low on health.
