Overall Structure
Collect Jade Rabbits to spin the Rabbit Wheel for guaranteed Lunar Bugs character pieces from Campaigns and Rank-up Lunar Bugs! Pick up more various toon pieces in the Event Store!
Each day, a new “Daily Chapter” will become available. Later chapters will require ranked-up Lunar Bugs. You can win 10 stages per daily chapter each day (whether that’s the first stage 10 times, the 10 stages one time each, or anything in-between). You can also farm previous daily chapters! Challenge yourself to get as far as you can each day, then return to past chapters with your newly ranked-up Lunar Bugs to tackle them again! If you do well enough each day, your Lunar Bugs can reach 6 stars–or even higher!
Also be sure to check out the “Looney Lunars” bonus campaign and “Lunar Week” bonus quests, where all your favorite Lunar toons are joining together to bring in the New Year!
Event Changes
The campaign structure has been changed so that players can continue to farm past daily chapters with a smoother progression. Also, the 1st Daily Chapter has been moved to start on Friday with the beginning of the event, and a 7th Daily Chapter has been added. The 1st chapter will also be available during the last 18 hours of the event (along with an extra set of Daily Quests), after the other Daily Chapters have ended. The Rabbit Wheel gives on average slightly fewer toon pieces, but the additional opportunities to obtain Jade Rabbits should result in similar rewards for players who can keep up with the Daily challenges, while also providing newer players more ways to catch up.
Additionally, the “Starter” chapter has been replaced with a challenging 2v4 chapter where you can bring your ranked-up Lunar Bugs to earn Seasonal Star Tokens at any time during the event!
This event carries over the seasonal tweaks from O’Pat Frost (higher Event Token rewards and exchange limits, altered Wrapper Quests, and Seasonal Star Tokens)
Overall, these changes should allow all players to enjoy continuing to play the campaign and ranking up Lunar Bugs throughout the event. We hope this makes for a more enjoyable and engaging event experience!
Campaign
Challenge
Play through the Lunar Bugs Campaign’s “Sparkling Lunar Bugs” chapter to collect Seasonal Star Tokens, Jade Rabbits, Gold, and Lunar Bugs Pieces! This chapter exists primarily to obtain extra first-time rewards as you rank up Lunar Bugs throughout the event, but you can also farm Moon Pendants here.
Requires: Event Energy, ranked-up Lunar Bugs.
Daily
Play through the Daily Chapters to collect Jade Rabbits, Moon Pendants, and Lunar Bugs character pieces!
Requires: Later acts require ranked-up Lunar Bugs.
NOTE: Daily chapters and quests change on daily reset (12 AM UTC). The first daily chapter will RESET 6 hours after the event begins.
