What’s up, doc?

Our next Meet the Team post is here! In these post series, we bring you members of the development team and we ask them about their roles and favorite things about the game.

Off we go!

Meet our Lead UX Designer, Cloé

So what do you do inside the team?

As Lead UX Designer my main goal is to deliver the most rewarding, smooth, and satisfying experience possible. Also, in the meantime, raise, mature, and spread a user-centric approach along with the teams.

So my time is split between working closely with the Product and Game Design teams on the design of new features, and helping and guiding the UI/UX team along with their tasks.

What’s that you love about the game and the franchise?

I’ve been a Looney Tunes fan since I was a kid! In fact, one of the reasons why I started to get a taste for drawing was when I got a Monster Tweety’s comic book and started copying every frame of it.

And now, here I am working on LTWoM! Somehow I believe that the 9-year- old Cloé is super proud of me.

What are you currently working on?

I’m working on this super exciting new mini-game called Lucky Saloon, currently in Early Access. I can’t wait to see the players’ reactions trying their lucky against Wildcard Ralph… I worked also on Endurance Tower and besides that, I’m raising some UI improvements regarding general user flows, working on some internal processes, etc.

If you were a toon, Who would you be and why?

I would be Egghead the Knowing because I am short-sighted, I am always studying something and from time to time I drop some random knowledge on the table. My friends always ask me about any subject, from a gastroenterologist indication to how to make homemade soy sauce. I always have an answer!

What are your favorite toons in the game:

I love all toons but I have a special affection our cross-dressers toons like Daffy Miranda, Valkyrie Bugs, Cheerleader Wile E, and Snowbunny Bugs.

What are your favorite Team Compositions?

As a crazy cat lady, I must confess that my goal is to have a full Sylvester Jr team…

So today my main team consists of Fishercat Sylvester Jr., The Flaming Succotash, Picador Sylvester Jr., and (in the meanwhile until I don’t unlock Sylvester Jr OG) Contender Sylvester.

Tell us about some Funny/”oh-noes” development moments that you remember:

Working from home brings us all sorts of funny/awkward moments, especially when the camera is on. Believe me, if that was a bingo, I would have already won the big prize.

Back then when I joined the team, I was attending my first design review meeting while an extreme-makeover was going on in the building next door. Each time I opened the microphone to try to start the presentation, they cranked a crane so loud that it sounded like it was coming from my room. It was simply impossible to understand what I was saying. After that, every time I turned off the microphone, they turned off the crane. If I turned on the microphone, they turned on the crane. And so the meeting went on and I felt trapped in an episode of Looney Tunes with someone playing a prank on me.

Any other curious thing you want to tell the community – this is your moment to shine!

I would like to thank the community for all the support and constructive feedback. I’m always catching up on discord and Reddit to collect your impressions and it’s amazing to see how passionate you guys are about the game. It motivates me to design new experiences and improve them even more.

And last, but not least. Joining this team is being a once in a lifetime experience! I’m so lucky to be around such talented, inspiring, and engaged people who are thriving in delivering the craziest game of all time!

I would like to thank Missae, Guilherme and Rod for the warmest welcome that I could have and Camilla and Flopes for the daily support! It’s an honor to work along with y’all!
